About the Artist
BACKGROUND
London-born pointillist painter blending classical technique with modern precision
Born and raised in London, with frequent escapes into the surrounding countryside, I have always carried a deep-rooted artistic sensibility. Although creativity shaped my early years, I initially followed a more traditional career path. After spending over a decade working in data engineering, software development, and Artificial Intelligence, I rediscovered the need for a more expressive outlet. In 2024, I made the deliberate decision to shift my focus toward painting and drawing, returning to the artistic foundations that had been quietly building since childhood.
Today, my work is defined by a meticulous pointillist style inspired by Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, and the Post-Impressionist masters. My background in engineering and AI plays a significant role in how I construct each piece; precision, structure, and pattern recognition naturally influence the rhythmic placement of dots, the measured colour transitions, and the overall technical harmony of my compositions. This unique combination of creativity and analytical discipline gives my art a distinctive visual identity—balancing emotion with order, and intuition with design.
In April 2024, I built my website as a dedicated space to showcase and sell my original artworks. Here, I share vibrant pointillist landscapes, contemporary stippled illustrations, and modern fine-art pieces that bridge traditional techniques with a digital-age mindset. My portfolio continues to grow as I explore colour theory, visual storytelling, and the meditative nature of dot-based mark-making.
Whether drawing inspiration from nature, urban environments, or the interplay between technology and art, my goal is to create pieces that invite viewers to slow down, observe, and appreciate the beauty in detail.
