I recently spent a long weekend in Oslo (Norway) and I was able to get some further art inspiration by visiting the Munch museum and seeing some amazing artworks.
The amazing bold brushstrokes and usage of colour by Edvard Munch was second to none. He was able to capture the essence of the painting in just a few brushstrokes and pushing the boundaries on the usage of colour. An example of this is using thick blue lines to draw people and adding some extra texture by not priming the canvas first.
I also saw the scream painting which is actually in the National Gallery and not in the Munch museum. It is definitely worth viewing the Scream along with many other paintings in the National Museum in Oslo.
Both the Munch museum and National Art Museum have entry fees but I highly recommend getting an Oslo pass which gets you free access to both museums as well as free transportation on the trams and buses. Link to the Munch Museum can be found below https://www.munchmuseet.no/en/

I did mention the Oslo pass which gets you free access to many museums including the ones mentioned above. The longest one you can get is for 3 days. I have provided a link below which gives details about the Oslo passes you can get.
